We held our wedding party at The Duke’s Head a couple of weeks’ ago and had the BEST time. The pub looked beautiful, the staff were fantastic and the food was delicious. Jake who helped organise the whole thing was an absolute hero, he ensured everything was exactly as we wanted it and went above and beyond to give us the perfect party. If you are looking for a bit of a different wedding venue I would definitely recommend it. All our guests had a fantastic time!

We had a lovely 3 course lunch upstairs in the beautiful Woolsey Room at the Dukes Head to celebrate our Wedding. The room was the perfect size for our 30 guests and the food was delicious. Sofia helped us diligently before the event and the bar staff and servers on the day were excellent; attentive, professional and friendly, willing to accommodate all requests. Would recommend a large party here, but equally we will be back for a quiet pint and bite to eat!

We ask for carriages at 12am, with the option of extending the licence to 1am at an additional cost.

We don’t have parking here at the pub but there is ample on street parking around the venue, payable via the RingGo App.

Yes! We have a full wedding licence for up to 50 guests in our first-floor Wolsey room.

Absolutely – though we are very pretty to begin with. We allow table decorations, balloons and some wall decorations so long as they leave no lasting damage! Let us know if you would like recommendations.

You can get pencilled-in straight away. Once you’re ready to commit (so to speak) we’ll ask for a deposit payment.

No, however our Head Chef, Nuki, would love to work with you to create the ideal food for your wedding. Full menu choices, plus special dietary requirements are agreed at least 10 days in advance, so you’ve plenty of time.

Yes! We’re more than happy to accommodate all types of entertainment! Please just notify your events planner so we can pass on all the technical details.
