Duke's Head Putney
A grand Victorian grade II listed building that has watched over the River Thames for nearly 150 years.
Sitting at the start of the Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Race, she has enjoyed this uniquely British battle of the oars for over a Century and this year will be ideally situated to witness the splendor of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee; a flotilla of 1000 ships covering nearly 7 miles.
There really is no better place to watch a bit of British history in the making.
The Coxswain Dining Room
We know and love our steak and so will only use the finest slowly matured British beef; cut fresh to order, griddled on the highest heat and sat to rest before serving.
