Lovely venue , great food, staff go above and beyond. I had a big birthday party here and i cannot fault the pub. Robbie the manager was diligent in helping me plan my event and took extra time and care to make sure my ideas were heard and turning them into a reality. The bar staff on the night were fabulous too. The food was exceptional the sharing platters were huge but also delicious. We were able to have the ground floor/basement floor separated off so just myself and friends could have a private use of the facilities. I would recommend this venue to anyone planning a big (or indeed small) party.

We held my son's 21st Birthday drinks in the The Rowing Club at The Duke's Head. The space is brilliant, plenty of room but does not need to be full to generate an atmosphere. Bar staff and manager on the night were super friendly and helpful. Food - sliders and canapes - was delicious. Would happily recommend and very likely to use again!
